How to Have a Blog
- Pick a blog software - list below, but I reccomend Blogger.com for ease of use and integration
- Go ahead and sign up on the blog site and test it out, it's pretty easy and free, you can do this before you even 'pick' it actually
- Take one or two things you've written in the past couple weeks and boil them down to blog-length posts - usually 5-8 paragraphs.
- Go read the progressive blogs! This shoudl probably be first! Start with myDD.com, then look on the left hand side and go read a few posts from a few others - start with Ezra Klein, Daily Kos, and I also like the AFL-CIO blog, aflcio.org/blog
- Have coffee or dinner with someone who knows about this stuff.
