New Media BootCamp 2010

What: NOI's 2010 New Media BootCamp
Who: 30 Progressive Rockstars
Where: Washington, DC
When: July 1st - July 8th, 2010
Cost: We've got it covered. BootCamp is an all-expenses paid training for those who are accepted.

Meet the 2010 BootCamp cohort here!

BootCamp is the New Organizing Institute's signature training event, bringing talented progressives to DC for an intense, week-long training on how to run all aspects of a campaign, from online organizing, field organizing, and data and technology management. BootCamp is an all-expense-paid training, awarded to the most diverse, talented, innovative group of organizers in the country. We're so invested in the brightest young progressives that we're bringing them to DC on our dime.

BootCamp is a completely immersive training that combines the theoretical principles of organizing with hands-on learning experience. During the day, BootCampers will learn from top progressive trainers: not just the leading active practitioners in the field, but game-changing innovators in new media. At night, they'll be working into the wee hours on their own mock campaigns. From crafting a message to getting out the vote, BootCampers will gain skills in every aspect of running a campaign.

This year's BootCamp will focus on training new media directors who can go immediately into the field to work on electoral campaigns or with civic engagement organizations.

Alumni of BootCamp have gone on to serve as field organizers, new media and executive directors for organizations like Organizing for America, SEIU, GetEQUAL, the ONE Campaign, the Rukus Society, The League of Young Voters, Color of Change, MoveOn, NRDC, and many, many others.

Now we're looking to you for the next cohort of 30 progressive rockstars who are ready to take on the challenges of the 2010 election cycle. Are you one of them? Do you know someone who is?

The deadline for applications has already passed.  Thanks for your interest in NOI's BootCamp.
