Bio

Sarah Baker is the Digital Director for the Candidate Project, where she strives to engage new leaders in the local electoral process.  Over the past few years, working with her colleagues from New Kings Democrats, Sarah has been at the forefront of a progressive movement for political reform in Brooklyn, NY and has experienced the powerful impact that grassroots organizing can have on communities.  Sarah honed her campaign skills on borough-wide and city-wide races in New York City, and last year she focused on change at the hyper-local level as the Campaign Manager for an insurgent State Committee candidate who beat the Brooklyn Democratic machine’s hand-picked hack.  

Sarah is a graduate of Temple University's Tyler School of Art (& NOI's New Media BootCamp), and has worked as a freelance graphic designer in the campaign "off-season."
