Mike Jensen

Lead Developer, Voting Information Project

In school Mike studied the science of computers, an understanding of which has continued to eluded him to this day. After many years, he was finally able to free himself from this ivory tower of intellectualism and he packed up his car and headed out west, not to follow in Kid Rock's footsteps as a cowboy, but to work as a field organizer in the great state of Iowa. Unemployed once the campaign was over, he decided to try his chops at what he majored in and joined Salsa Labs as a Software Engineer. While there, he quickly realized his passion lied in a combination of politics and technology, and he came on board as a programmer on the Voting Information Project at NOI where he has been neck deep in the world of political data for the past few years.
