Matt Stempeck

Bio

Matt is the New Media Manager at NOIEF, where he manages a wide range of online media and trainings. He has extensive experience helping organizations use technology to create social change. Most recently, Matt served as New Media Director at Americans for Campaign Reform, a grassroots organization advocating for citizen-funded elections. At EchoDitto, Matt enabled online communities to create lasting offline change on behalf of nonprofits, web startups, and socially responsible corporations. Matt graduated from the University of Maryland with High Honors, where he wrote a thesis on the disruptive role of blogs (and the Internet in general) on politics and journalism. Matt also hosted one of Washington, DC’s longest-running and most popular events, Netsquared DC, which brought together innovators from the technology and social change worlds. Matt now resides in the People’s Republic of Cambridge, MA.
