Evan Sutton

Communications Director

When the universe conspired against Evan's MFA aspirations, he found himself relocating to Las Vegas, NV, to take an unpaid internship with Obama for America. From October of 2007 through April of 2010, Evan worked to engage Nevadans -- first to nominate Barack Obama, then to elect him, and finally to pass the Affordable Care Act. After attending NOI's Campaign Manager BootCamp, Evan mounted a successful campaign to join the team at NOI, where his talent for writing, editing, and communications quickly led to responsibilities in digital and traditional comms work.

When not figuring out better ways to engage people through content and writing, Evan can be found playing with his three (?!?) kids, baking and making ice cream, watching sports, or making sure his wife is happy.
