Donny Bridges

Research Director, Ballot Information Project

Donny is the Election Administration Research Director at NOI. In 2012, Donny led the Ballot Information Project, which helped over 25 million people find online information about who and what would be on their November ballots. He previously served as Deputy Director for NOI's Candidate Project, helping to recruit and support progressives running for local office. Before he became “Donny Vegas” for NOI, he was “Donny Teacher” to 2nd through 8th graders in Seoul, Korea. Donny is a 2007 graduate of Stanford University, where he obtained bachelors’ degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. He also was a member of the Stanford Debate Society, competing at national and international competitions throughout his career. Nowadays, he spends his time chuckling about absurd-sounding elected offices, writing uneven pieces of short fiction, and working on ill-conceived art projects involving Ingmar Bergman films.
