Adapted from the privacy experts at the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

The New Organizing Institute (NOI) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website, as well as our members. NOI has established this Privacy Policy to explain what information we collect through this website and how it is used.

* In this policy, "NOI" refers to NOI staff, board members, cooperating attorneys, interns, volunteers, and consultants, all of whom are bound by law or contract to keep information they receive as part of their assistance to NOI confidential.

NOI does not sell or rent donor information under any circumstances, and we do not share information without prior consent except as compelled by law. (See discussion below.)

If you choose to register an NOI event, we may ask for additional information.

If you choose to apply to an NOI training, we may ask additional questions to help us select trainees based on relevant experience and aptitude.

If you pay for a training or make a donation online, we also ask for your credit card number. We process all payments and donations with the industry-standard secure payment processor, Braintree Payment Solutions.

We also maintain records of our members' basic use of our online actions (e.g. which NOI emails you have opened and clicked on).

These statistics are used solely to optimize our communications' content, frequency, and relevance to you.

We may ask for additional personal information when you provide feedback or comments, or otherwise communicate with us.
