Summer’s coming to an end. As folks are getting ready for GOTV and the excitement of Election Day, we're taking a moment to get together before the final stretch.
Sunday, September 16, we’re hosting a picnic to celebrate together and enjoy a minute of community.
RSVP to join us for the first annual Progressive Picnic in the Park, Sunday, September 16 from 2-7 PM.
We'll gather in the upper area of Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park, near the drum circle (15th and Euclid). Bring friends, family, and even pets!
The event is potluck, so bring a dish to share (enough for 4-6 is ideal). To help those with dietary restrictions, please write the ingredients of your dish on an index card, and mark if it’s veggie and/or vegan friendly. Bring your favorite beverage (but remember that alcohol is not allowed in DC public parks).
Join us for fun, food, drinks, games, and a little community time before the final push toward November.
