We’re partnering with the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) to recruit and train Field Managers for critical legislative battles. Selected applicants will receive a 5-day intensive training in Washington, DC, June 25-30 2012.
Whether you’re just getting started or have a cycle or two under your belt, this is your opportunity to receive the training and skills you need to run winning, efficient, data-driven campaigns. At the DLCC's invitation, representatives of state legislative caucuses will be present to interview staff for positions on key campaigns across the country.
Application Deadline is Sunday, May 20, 2012.
This training integrates our core curriculum in data management, new media, field, and campaign leadership. Participants will learn to build and run an engagement campaign. This is a hands-on training experience, where participants will have opportunity to learn and test new skills, and build community with both new and experienced campaign professionals.
Participants must be willing to relocate to work on a Leglislative race to be considered for this training.
For accepted applicants, the training, housing, and meals will be provided at no cost. Participants are responsible for arranging travel to Washington, DC, and all associated costs. Participants can apply for full or partial travel scholarships.
All training participants will be considered for Field Manager positions on with state legislative caucuses, but we cannot guarantee that every participant will receive an offer.
