New Media BootCamp without Borders
From Arizona to Georgia, from City Councils to Congress, immigrants in America are under a relentless attack.
But immigrant-rights groups are fighting back. From the DREAMers fighting for national immigration reform to groups like PAZ en Accion taking down anti-immigrant legislators in the states, these communities are taking a stand. To support their work, we're proud to introduce New Media BootCamp without Borders, to help immigrants and immigrant-rights organizers leverage the power of online organizing.
BootCamp without Borders is designed to help social-change organizations and organizers working in the immigration movement develop the skills to create winning online campaigns. Immigrant communities are disproportionately affected by the economic crisis, and face discriminatory and dehumanizing legislation across the country. This training is built to support those standing up for change in these communities, and to develop greater diversity in online organizing.
Whether you're an organizer looking to expand your skills and find new work in the immigration movement, or an organization looking to build your staff capacity, we hope you'll apply to attend this training. You'll learn cutting edge digital strategies, build your technical knowledge, and develop new alliances with organizers from around the country.
Limited scholarships are available, and can be requested within the application process.
