Advanced Online Organizing is a 2-day course for current New Media practitioners who are looking to build their knowledge and skill set. We'll cover advanced strategic and tactical topics, examine some of the newest, cutting edge practices, and examine recent movements to see how social media and online engagement can drive and support real-world actions.
The course costs $300 per person, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Topics covered will include:
- Managing your email program
- Trends in social networking
- Online advertising
- Mobile engagement (SMS)
- Analytics, testing, and optimization
This course does not focus on technical skills, but rather on advanced strategic and tactical systems to implement a strong New Media department and effective online campaigns. While we will cover strategic uses of some tools and technologies, we will not cover implementation of specific platforms or tools.
