NOI Culture of Analytics and Optimization

When one of your campaign's videos becomes wildly successful, do you know why it took off? And do you have enough evidence to learn from your missteps?

The insight your data provides is one of the best reasons to integrate new media into your organizing work. And yet all too often, we forget to set up tracking, or we measure the wrong things. Making decisions based on solid analytics can mean the difference between big wins and big disappointments. That's why we're offering you an advanced training specifically for new media practitioners.

Want to create a dynamic, data-driven campaign? Join us for Culture of Analytics and Optimization, February 17-18 in Washington, DC.

You have bold ideas, and you want to see if they'll work. But how do you test new strategies and tactics? And once you've tried something, how do you make sense of the data you collect? To help you answer those questions, we're offering Culture of Analytics and Optimization, a two-day training designed to help you build a powerful campaign.

Culture of Analytics and Optimization is designed for active new media practitioners with at least one year of experience, working with a membership of 20,000 persons or more. We'll focus on designing experiments and analyzing results for online programs, and how your new media actions can strengthen and support every facet of your organization.

This training will take place in-person on February 17-18 at NOI's office in Washington, DC. The course focuses on maximizing your impact by using controlled experiments and data analysis to better engage your supporters.

Over the two days, we'll cover key topics to help you grow, including creating a culture of experimentation, designing meaningful tests, analyzing data, and optimizing your program based on your findings. Instructors from prominent organizations will combine up-front lessons with hands-on practice to teach you best practices in developing experiments and optimizing each part of your campaign based on clear data. This class is the first in a series of intermediate and advanced skills courses we'll be offering over the course of the year.

Even if Culture of Analytics and Optimization isn't for you, keep your eyes out for information on upcoming trainings. We'll be rolling out more one and two day trainings to help you hone your management skills, brush up on your writing, dig into making and promoting videos, and much more. Hope to see you soon!
