Dig the RootsBlog

In just 6 short weeks, 600 organizers will be gathering in Washington DC to figure out how to change the world - together.

In the past, Rootscamp has not only served as one of the foremost organizing events in the country, but it has been a launching pad for literally hundreds of careers in organizing. Over the years, thousands of you have joined us in sharing the best practices, most innovative technologies and most inspiring stories from around the country. Through your vital work and your sharing at Rootscamp, you've facilitated so many others to change the world they live in - and we want to hear about it.

RootsBlog is a new project of Rootscamp that will be used to share the experience of the event with others. What was your first Rootscamp like? Have you ever presented at Rootscamp? Did you meet someone at Rootscamp that gave you the opportunity of a lifetime? Or maybe...just maybe, you met the love of your life there? We'd also like you to use the blog as an opportunity to speak about sessions you'd like to lead or tell us about what you hope to get out of Rootscamp. RootsBlog is for everyone.

So write your blog post, send it to me at jamie@neworganizing.com and though we can't guarantee everything that gets sent in will be published, we will certainly do our best. So do it. Drop us a line and tell us what Rootscamp means to you.
