There's an agenda on the way.
That means that BootCamp is really going to happen. Each time I sit down at my computer, I'm kind of shocked by the crop of amazingly gifted folks who we have coming to this year's BootCamp. And I'm kind of shocked that it's actually going to happen.
Pulling off an event like BootCamp is no small task, and we have a small team of really talented folks who are making it happen. But, as I've said before, BootCamp is really a community event...it's a life-changing experience for attendees because so many people pitch in to make it happen -- who give their time, resources, skills, and knowledge to help build a better-trained and more tech-enabled progressive movement.
One of the ways we're going about doing just that is by hosting a Career Fair on the last day of BootCamp -- designed to place these 60 amazing folks in some of the most crucial positions in the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. I'm really excited about that prospect, especially after seeing their faces and stories (which will be posted on the site soon!).
Is your organization, agency, or company interested in hiring these folks? If so, check out our info on the Career Fair and see if it's the right fit for your employer. We'd love to ensure that these folks leave BootCamp with a lot of new knowledge, but also with a great place to put it into practice!
