Obama Reprimands Maggie, Joins the Growing 'Draft Homer' Movement!
Barack Obama issued a press release this evening expressing his disappointment in Maggie after endorsing her earlier in the day. Citing the rumors pumped out by the Maggie camp ('Facebook warns Homer Simpson staff'), he said her campaign tactics were "malicious, unsubstantiated, and childish."

Standing in front of a towering statue of Superman, the young Senator from Illinois did a 180 and signed onto the Draft Homer for President movement. "Homer Simpson represents politics of change. By staying above the fray, he seeks to change politics as usual. Homer Jay Simpson is a true visionary," Obama gushed.

Homer humbly thanked Obama for the remarks, and then transitioned to his stump speech on religion, saying: ""I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman." Smiling, Homer realized that the heavens had opened, and promptly thanked Superman for his good graces.
